Answer boards and social searching

It's a valuable tool to have when you really stuck with something. However you still rely on your own instincts and commonn sense to get the best suitable answer for your questions. You still have to sift through lots of responses to get the best one.
In Answer boards, how can one determine that answers are provided by a qualified librarian.
Answer Board Librarys Wiki can be useful in Public and Academic libraries to serve customers in remote areas, housebound customers or may be a substitute for ILL's.

People need to identify as librarians - and they have to give the best answers. Some of this is in question selection - but there is nothing wring with playing to a strength.
